Worked on a new wildlife design this past week. The “bugling elk” carve was made from an Ash slab and is approximately 12″ x 8″ x 1-1/2″ deep. There is a lot of detail in this carving which I tried to enhance by adding some color using a combination of different stains and finished off
Lake contour maps are popular in this area, but most of the ones I see are strictly laser cut maps. I wanted to do something different to make mine stand out a little from the typical ones. Here is my first version. It is a combination of cnc carved depth contours and laser engraved details.
