Worked on a new wildlife design this past week.
The “bugling elk” carve was made from an Ash slab and is approximately 12″ x 8″ x 1-1/2″ deep. There is a lot of detail in this carving which I tried to enhance by adding some color using a combination of different stains and finished off with a satin lacquer.
